My take on an iBlur. Nothing groundbreaking, but I like how clean and flexible it is by using a TimeBlur internally.

Hi,
by default effect_mask set to none and also disabled, so you need to make those 2 extra steps which before was by default. I absolutely love iBlur and used to plug a mask and use it. Maybe you should set effect_mask to rgba.alpha and enable the checkbox? Cause Blur node also is set to none and disbaled, but as soon as you plug a mask it will set it to rgba.alpha and enable the checkbox.

True, as the effect mask is the only reason to use this tool this makes sense. I'll update later.
You only need one step though, selecting a channel will enable the mask automatically :)

Thanks, this is much cleaner than the node-stack!
If you have time, you can update it to have the effect mask enabled by default, as mentioned above :)
