Simple setup of blur nodes with exponentially increasing size, added back to the input successively. expoglow features a pre- and post-grade section, colour shift settings and a mask input that behaves the way it should – masking the input, not the glow itself.
Should work in all versions and across OS, please let me know if it doesn't.
Update 1.1: fixed a bug that would introduce alpha.red / alpha.green channels in some cases.
Update 1.2: took out some internal stuff that wasn't needed. And a viewer, for which I apologize sencerely. Stupid mistake.
Update 1.3: improved internal merge and crop ops for performance and stability. changed the 'crop to' modes to make better sense (I hope). added 'mix luminance' controls to the post-grade section.
Update 1.4: fixed a hickup with the last file. will have to work on my quality assurance...

but making is not working. Is there way to use the masking?
Masking should work alright, but I didn't put a callback on the knob, so you'll have to manually activate the check box next to the mask channel dropdown. Let me know if that fixes your problem. Cheers!
