It sets the input range based on the calculation of the handles so you can review files quickly. You just select the footage and set the viewing mode from 'global' to 'input' and then press either of the hotkeys to set the viewing range. This code toggle on - off ripple edit mode in nuke. Select your roto shape and run the hot-key. This will really help full while edit rotoshape inside nuke. Here im using alt+q as keyboard shortcut. But you can use your combination of key's.
