Delete user created channels.
Sometimes we need to create additional channel in Nuke. It’s not a problem, but… we haven't option to delete them! So here we have a place for my script.
Principle of operation is simple. Script ask you to select user layers to delete, then create another version of your project without them (next “v” number, or adds “_clean” at the end of file name)!. Old version will be unchanged.
Channels from files (like “.exr”) can’t be deleted but they still will be listed by the script, selection of them will not affect new file.
Greetings!
Sample 'menu.py':
import channels_cleaner
n.addCommand('Channels and Layers Cleaner', 'channels_cleaner.channels_cleaner()')
