This gizmo will render a facing ratio pass using a normal pass.It internally uses a dot product between a built-in render of camera normal and your normal pass.

You can tweak the result using a falloff slider and you have option to mess with your incoming normal.

The built-in render of camera normal should dynamically adapt to the resolution of your rendered normal pass.

Looks good. How about a Camera input to plug in a custom camera?
Thanks!

If you already have a camera normal pass.. Then the blue (z) channel is the dot product from the camera...

This seems uneeded, Am I missing something here?

It doesnt seem to be working for me or am i missing something? To test it, i created a sphere, a camera, put the camera at a good distance and connected these to scanline render, set shader to output vector and ticked surface normal and exported to a channel called N. Connected your gizmo and selected channel N and viewed it but I see black in rgba. Tweaking normalize data or falloff doesn't change anything, i see nothing.
